About the venue

The Georgian room has floor-to-ceiling windows, a balcony and a large dance floor. The Regency room overlooks the patio and tennis courts, has a built-in sound system, and is used for receptions, dinners, meetings and ceremonies. The Library can be divided into smaller rooms, and the Wellington room connects to the Richmond room as a breakout space. The club has 15 tennis courts, and an 18-hole golf course operates next door.

• Can the kitchen handle the cuisine and dietary needs you have, including halal, kosher-style, vegetarian or nut-free menus?
• What time must music stop and the room be cleared?
• How many parking spaces are there, and is there a charge?

Banquet halls usually have the ceiling height and floor space for most acts, from a strolling magician at cocktails to a stage show after dinner. Ask whether the stage has steps and power at the front, and how far the head table sits from it.
