Advertise

Reach planners, couples and corporate buyers in the GTA at the moment they are deciding.

Advertising on EventPlans.ca is designed to be useful to readers first. If you serve people planning events in Toronto and the GTA, here is how paid placement works and what it does and does not buy.

Who reads EventPlans.ca

Our readers are mostly in the middle of planning something. They may be a couple comparing venues, an executive assistant pricing a holiday party, a parent booking a children’s entertainer, or a professional planner checking a permit lead time. They come with a guest count and a date in mind, and they read closely.

That makes the audience valuable to the right business, and it is also why we protect their trust carefully.

What advertising buys

Paid placements give you visibility and a better showcase: more photos, more room to explain what you do, and a position in a labelled featured area. Every paid placement is marked as paid in plain words.

What it does not buy

  • A mention, recommendation or better wording in a guide, encyclopedia entry or Academy lesson.
  • A change in the order of ordinary listings, which follow the same rules for everyone.
  • Removal or editing of reviews.
  • Links in our editorial content. We do not sell links.

These rules come from our editorial policy, and they apply to every advertiser, including the founder’s own companies.

Before you advertise

Start with a free listing so readers can find you, and make it complete: real capacities or service details, a price range, and photos from real events. If you want more visibility after that, use the form below to ask for the media kit, and tell us which category and area you serve so we can suggest the placement that fits.

What we ask of advertisers

We accept advertising from businesses that serve events in the GTA and that we would be comfortable showing to a friend who is planning one. Your claims should be accurate, your prices should be clear about whether HST and service charges are included, and you should hold the insurance and certifications your work requires.

We may decline advertising that is misleading, that competes with the editorial content by imitating it, or that we cannot verify. If a reader raises a concern about an advertiser, we look into it, and we will end a placement if the concern is borne out.

These standards protect you as well. Readers who trust the site are more likely to trust the businesses they find on it.

EventPlans.ca readers arrive with a date, a budget and a problem to solve. Put your venue, act or service in front of them.
