Social media is where most event clients go to check you out after they hear your name. They look at your grid, read your comments and send a message at eleven at night. This module treats social as a sales channel, not a popularity contest. You will choose the two or three platforms that match how your buyers actually behave, build profiles that turn a curious visitor into an inquiry, and set a posting rhythm you can keep up through peak season. You will learn to run comments and direct messages like a front desk, work with creators and influencers inside Canada's disclosure rules, and read the few numbers that tell you whether social is producing bookings. The module is written for planners, performers, caterers, venues, photographers, décor and rental companies, DJs and bands. It ends with a workshop in which you build a 30-day social plan for your own business, modelled on Lantern & Lane.

By the end of this module you can

  • Choose the platforms that match your buyers and drop the ones that do not
  • Set up profiles with a clear offer, proof and a route to inquire
  • Run a posting rhythm and a DM routine you can sustain in peak season
  • Work with creators and disclose material connections under Canadian guidelines
  • Track the handful of social numbers that connect to inquiries and bookings
