A venue sells a fixed number of dates in a fixed number of rooms, and every Saturday that passes unbooked is gone for good. That makes venue marketing different from almost any other event business. You have to make a space look right for very different events, keep weekdays and winter months from sitting empty, turn website visitors into tours, win the trust of the planners who bring repeat business, and decide which listing platforms deserve your money. This track applies the core modules to banquet halls, hotels, restaurants with private rooms, galleries, heritage buildings, converted industrial spaces, farms, barns and estates across the GTA and Ontario. You will learn to produce photos, floor plans and tours that answer planners' questions, fill off-peak dates without cheapening your brand, build a website and inquiry flow that books tours, run open houses and familiarization visits that convert, and measure every listing platform by cost per booking.

By the end of this module you can

  • Produce a photo library, floor plans and a capacity chart that answer the questions planners ask first
  • Design off-peak offers that fill quiet dates while protecting your regular prices and complying with the rules on price claims
  • Build a venue website and inquiry flow that turns visitors into tours and tours into contracts
  • Run planner familiarization visits and couples' open houses with a clear agenda and follow-up
  • Choose, optimize and measure listing platforms and directories by cost per booking
