About the venue

The Grande Ballroom has an outdoor ceremony setting and a furnished private VIP room, and the Valley View Room opens to a lower terrace with a stone gazebo used for ceremonies. The club has an on-site non-dairy kosher kitchen, with menus prepared by the executive chef under COR supervision. Event spaces can be booked in winter, when the golf course is closed from November. The venue has a private bridal suite and full audio-visual capability.

Capacity

The venue publishes a maximum of 600 seated. Those are top figures for an empty room. A dance floor, a stage, a buffet or a photo booth each take space, so plan on fewer guests than the maximum once your layout is drawn.

A useful rule: a seated dinner at rounds of ten needs about 1 to 1.2 square metres per guest, a standing reception about 0.7, and theatre seating about 0.6, before you add a stage or dance floor. The venue capacity calculator does the arithmetic for your room.

• Is a membership or member sponsor needed to book?
• What is the rain plan for an outdoor ceremony?
• Are photos allowed on the course, and at what times?
• What time does the clubhouse close for private events?
• Is there a minimum guest count on weekends?

Planning entertainment here

Clubhouse dining rooms often have lower ceilings, so plan for floor-level acts: magicians, musicians and caricaturists. A patio can take roaming acts during cocktails.

Send every performer’s technical needs to the venue before you book: floor space, ceiling height, power, sound and changing room.
