Country Heritage Park is an 80-acre property in Milton run by the non-profit Country Heritage Agricultural Society.
About the venue
Receptions take place in heritage buildings including the Gambrel Barn, which is heated but not air-conditioned. Food comes from a list of preferred caterers, and all alcohol must be served under the park’s own liquor licence. Outdoor ceremony sites have weather backup locations such as the Harrop Barn and Gambrel Loft; the Carriage House has none. Parking is free, and vehicles may be left overnight if collected the next morning.
On EventPlans.ca it is listed as a barn or farm and unique venue in Milton, at 8560 Tremaine Road, Milton, ON L9T 2X3.
Event spaces
The venue lists these spaces. Capacities are the venue’s own figures and change with the layout you choose.

- Gambrel Barn: 280
- Carriage House: 150 (late May to mid-September)
- Puslinch Town Hall: 64 banquet, 80 cocktail
- Gambrel Loft: 160 (stairs only)
- Cassin Meadow (ceremony)
- The General Store (ceremony)
Capacity
The venue publishes a maximum of 280 seated. Those are top figures for an empty room. A dance floor, a stage, a buffet or a photo booth each take space, so plan on fewer guests than the maximum once your layout is drawn.
A useful rule: a seated dinner at rounds of ten needs about 1 to 1.2 square metres per guest, a standing reception about 0.7, and theatre seating about 0.6, before you add a stage or dance floor. The venue capacity calculator does the arithmetic for your room.
Events it hosts
According to its own event pages, the venue hosts weddings.

Questions to ask on your site visit
Bring these to your walk-through. Get the answers in writing before you sign.
- Is the barn heated or cooled, and in which months is it usable?
- Where are the washrooms, and are they permanent or rented?
- Is there enough power for a band, catering and lighting, or is a generator needed?
- How do guests park, and what happens to the parking area after rain?
- Are open flames, sparklers or fire performers allowed?
- Must you bring your own tables, chairs and rentals?
Planning entertainment here
Barns can look spectacular with circus and LED acts, but check the ground surface, the power supply and whether open flame is allowed near hay or wood.

Send every performer’s technical needs to the venue before you book: floor space, ceiling height, power, sound and changing room.

About this listing
EventPlans.ca lists venues independently so planners can compare them in one place. This listing is not an advertisement: the venue did not pay for it, has not reviewed it, and is not affiliated with EventPlans.ca. Capacities, rooms and policies are taken from the venue's own published information and can change, so confirm every detail with the venue before you book.
