Planning an event in Winnipeg

  • Alcohol: a licensed venue covers the bar. Anywhere else (a hall, a park, an office) needs a Social Occasion Liquor Permit from the Liquor, Gaming and Cannabis Authority of Manitoba (LGCA). Timing: at least 4 weeks ahead. The legal drinking age in Manitoba is 18.
